= REVA Team at ENSEEIHT

The group of the [[http://www.irit.fr/-VORTEX-Team-?lang=en|REVA]] team of IRIT working at [[http://www.enseeiht.fr/en/index.html|ENSEEIHT]] is composed of about 15 people, among faculty members, researchers, Ph.D. students, interns and development engineers. The main research activities of the group focus on the **image and video analysis** and the **3D modeling**.

== Research Activities

The research activities of the group are mainly focused on the "**inverse problems**" of computer vision, such as 3D reconstruction, 2D and 3D segmentation, and object detection. 
We also investigate **multimedia applications**, where one or many users can implicitly or explicitly contribute to the analysis of the visual content. 
This double profile finds its natural application in **augmented reality** projects combining images, video, 3D data and user interactions, often in the context of mobile applications.

**ELSD (Ellipse and Line Segment Detector)**

ELSD is a parameterless ellipse and segment detector, that can be applied on any grey-scale image without prior edge detection or parameter tuning.
